Garmin 76C

The Garmin GPS 76CSX  is a special GPS device that is aimed at boaters and marine users. It has several unique features that mariners will love. It weighs 7.6 ounces and features a very accurate GPS receiver that will track your position anywhere, even under tree cover or in canyons. The Garmin 76c has a vey bright display that is very clear, even in sunlight. It comes with a 128MB microSD card for storing map data. The 76CSx also has an integrated barometric altimeter as well as an electronic compass.

The 76C has memory card slot that can be used with Garmin´s microSD cards. These are loaded with things like topgraphic maps, city streets and more. The GPSMap 76C is fully compatible with all Garmin MapSource products like BlueChart, City Navigator and more. The 76C comes preloaded with an Americas autoroute map with automatic routing capabilities. This unit also has a preloaded marine point database.

The Garmin 76C´s 2.6 inch, 256 color TFT display has been especially designed to provide mapping and trip information as clearly as possible, under all lighting conditions. Its case is very lightweight and completely water resistant. The 76C even floats on water. Using two AA batteries, the unit can be used for up to 20 hours.
